Annette Mark

Ms Mark was appointed as the Executive Director of Invest SVG on the 16th October, 2017.  As the Executive Director, Ms Mark is responsible for the overall performance of Invest SVG in the carrying out of its mandate which include attracting foreign direct investments to St Vincent and the Grenadines and the expansion of export markets.

Ms Mark previously held the position of Chief of Immigration of the Antigua and Barbuda Department of Immigration from June 2015.  Prior to her appointment as Chief Immigration Officer.

Ms Mark is an Attorney at Law and relocated to Antigua and Barbuda in 2012 to take up the position of Legal Counsel with the Office of Drug and Money Laundering Control Policy.  Her duties at the ONDCP included advising the Director on related matters and appearing in matters before the court on behalf of the Organization.

While at the ONDCP Ms Mark was appointed as the Governmental Expert for Antigua and Barbuda for the Working Groups of the Implementation Review Group of the United Nations Convention Against Corruption (UNCAC) and the Mechanism for the Implementation of the Inter-American Convention Against Corruption (MESICIC).

As Governmental Expert to both of these Mechanisms she represents Antigua and Barbuda at the Working Group meetings in Vienna and at the Committee of Expert meetings in Washington DC.  She has conducted onsite reviews on the Republic of Uruguay and Guatemala in respect to the implementation of both Conventions and will soon be conducting the reviews and onsite visits of Honduras and Grenada.  She also assisted in the preparation and coordination of the onsite review for Antigua by both Mechanisms.
