BELTRAIDE is proud to sponsor and participate in the Sustainable Tourism Conference, hosted by the Belize Tourism Board, where our representatives engaged with regional stakeholders to showcase Belize’s investment opportunities and fiscal incentives. 

At today’s conference, BELTRAIDE’s Executive Director, Ishmael Quiroz, joined the panel “Orange Economy in Action: How Belize is Using Culture and Creativity to Shape Its Tourism Brand.” 
During the session, he emphasized the importance of bridging divides through partnerships, highlighting initiatives like the National MSME Roadshow, which supports entrepreneurs in becoming sustainable and “putting their best foot forward.” He also underscored the need to learn directly from creatives and artists to design training that truly meet their needs. 

Mr. Quiroz further highlighted the growing opportunities within Belize’s orange economy, stressing the importance of access to funding and strategic investment to scale cultural and creative industries. He reinforced the critical role BELTRAIDE plays in supporting MSMEs through business development services, export support, and capacity building, transforming creativity into sustainable, revenue-generating enterprises. 

Belize is redefining culture as more than heritage, positioning it as a dynamic engine for economic growth and tourism innovation. Through targeted funding and hands-on MSME support, BELTRAIDE is turning creative potential into sustainable businesses and globally competitive experiences.
