CAIPA Continues Caribbean Entitlement & Hospitality Strategic Sessions™, Spotlighting Grenada

28 Sep 2026

CAIPA was pleased to co-host the second installment of the Caribbean Entitlement & Hospitality Strategic Sessions™, an executive platform conceived and led by Christopher A. Browne, Founder & CEO of The Buckler Group, to strengthen the institutional architecture connecting Caribbean governments and Investment Promotion Agencies with investors, developers, operators, and diaspora capital. Powered by EXODUS™, the series advances The Buckler Group’s Caribbean Renaissance™ Framework by moving beyond conventional investment promotion toward a disciplined pathway for aligning capital, land, public institutions, and execution around investment-ready tourism, hospitality, and real estate opportunities across the region.

The session, held virtually September 25 under the theme Hospitality, Real Estate & the Future of Development in Grenada, spotlighted the island's push to convert its natural and institutional assets into investment-ready, climate-resilient opportunities across hospitality, marine infrastructure, wellness, agritourism, and the blue economy.

Featured speakers Ronald Theodore (Grenada Investment Development Corporation, GIDC), Karline Purcell (Investment Migration Agency Grenada, IMA Grenada), and Zara Tremlett (Camper & Nicholsons Port Louis Marina), joined by Jerrod Delaine (African American Real Estate Professionals of New York, AAREPNY), outlined Grenada's priority investment sectors, namely, tourism and hospitality, health and wellness, ICT and the creative sector, agribusiness, and energy transition, alongside a pipeline of investment-ready projects, including a major medical-campus development, agribusiness expansion, and sargassum-to-fertilizer processing, among others.  Further details on investment opportunities in Grenada can be accessed at: https://linktr.ee/investgrenada.

Speakers also detailed Grenada's fiscal and non-fiscal incentive regime, the Citizenship by Investment program's role in financing up to 80% of approved development costs, with 94% financing for diaspora developers under the new Enhanced Local Developers Program. Firsthand operating experience from Port Louis Marina, which has seen 53.5% growth in yachting visitors over the past year was also explored during the session.

In hosting these sessions, CAIPA also seeks to tap into diaspora and investor networks directly rather than relying solely on costly overseas missions, and by welcoming continued collaboration between CAIPA's member agencies and organizations such as the Buckler Group and AAREPNY. Follow-up will include closed-door investor meetings and a planned inward delegation to Grenada in 2027.

The webinars continue monthly with the upcoming schedule shown below:
